Terms of Service

Last updated 16 October 2026

The agreement between you and Naijacloud when you create an account, deploy something or add funds to your balance.

1. Agreement

These terms cover your use of the Naijacloud dashboard, CLI, API and documentation (the "Service"), provided by Naijacloud TechSphere LTD. By creating an account or deploying to the Service, you accept them for yourself and for any organisation you represent.

If you use Naijacloud for an employer or client, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on their behalf.

2. What we provide

Naijacloud builds, runs and serves your code and data from our regions in Port Harcourt (af-west) and Europe (eu-west). The Service includes:

  • Web services, including prebuilt Docker images.
  • Managed databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB) and Redis and Valkey caches.
  • Cron jobs, with runs of up to 1 hour.
  • Static sites, object storage and transactional email.

We add and change features over time. If a change takes away something you rely on, we will email you at least 30 days before it happens.

3. Your account

You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by teammates and by tokens you create.

  • Keep passwords, API keys and deploy tokens secret, and rotate them if you think they have leaked.
  • Tell us at security@naijacloud.com as soon as you notice unauthorised access.

4. Balance and billing

Naijacloud is prepaid. You add funds to a naira balance, and each resource is charged by the hour at the rate shown on our pricing page when it ran. Prices are set and charged in naira.

  • You can set a monthly spending limit and a low-balance alert.
  • If your balance reaches zero, preview environments stop straight away. Paid web services and cron jobs stop after 3 days, and paid databases and caches after 7 days, unless you add funds.
  • Stopping never deletes anything. A stopped database keeps its data, and adding funds starts what we stopped again.
  • Free services, static sites and object storage are never stopped for an unpaid balance.
  • Free web apps sleep after 15 idle minutes and wake on the next visit.
  • We will give 30 days’ notice before raising a price.

Unused balance can be refunded on request when you close your account, less any amount owed.

5. Your code and data

You own your code and data. You give us only the permission we need to host, back up and serve it so the Service works.

We do not sell your data or use it to train models. Our staff access your databases or buckets only when you ask us to, when the law requires it, or to stop an active security incident, and that access is logged.

6. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@naijacloud.com from the address on the account. Export what you need first.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to fix it.

7. Liability

The Service is provided as is. We publish every incident on our status page. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
